Area and Chapter Officer elections – our chapters and the EAMA can function only when we have volunteers willing to fill open positions. One chapter failed to certify in 2024 and voted to dissolve because no one was willing to serve. EAMA currently has one additional chapter in inactive status for 2025 and will lose its charter if it fails to certify at the end of 2025. Each area in the FRVA must also certify at the end of 2025 to maintain its charter.

ELECTRONIC/ABSENTEE VOTING FOR EAMA ELECTIONS?
There are several reliable and secure options available to us
We have several chapters unable to travel long distances; they deserve the opportunity to vote.
I am asking for two volunteers to help me put together a proposal and present it to our BOD. I am willing to start June 1.
My goal is to be able to implement it for 2025 officer elections
In the future I will attempt to post the agenda on Monday evenings prior to the workshop on the EAMA website under announcements.
I encourage each chapter to look across the FRVA and EAMA to look at issues we need to solve, improvements we can make, etc. E-mail your input directly to me. I intend to sample those inputs in each workshop following Gillette.
