The Executive Board is implementing a few changes in the Governing Board Meeting that we believe will both engage the FRVA membership at large and better inform the participants in the Governing Board Meeting.
1. An informative e-blast will be sent out tomorrow with more information.
3. All FRVA members who have signed into the FRVA web site can view the GB book in its entirety. All members are encouraged to log in and invest the time in reading the book.
4. On June 24th a survey will be emailed to every current member of the FRVA. This survey will collect member responses on each item in the GB book, i.e., proposed changes in Bylaws and Policies & Procedures, budget, etc. The survey will be sent to every chapter member and non-chapter member, thus giving everyone a voice in the pending proceedings. The results will be segregated for each group.
5. This will be the first time we have attempted a survey like this and, if it works we hope to use it again in the future.
Presidents, please alert your members to watch for these emails.
