Greetings again, foodies – since we’re just two weeks out, here’s an update (and reminder) on the Perry Gourmands dinner. As I told you last time, we finally have a good restaurant that can accommodate our group actually within the Perry town limits! Orleans on Carroll, an upscale New-Orleans-themed restaurant on, of all places, Carroll Street, has come to town. Here’s a link to their website: https://orleansoncarroll.com/ . As you can see, they feature a variety of Cajun and Creole dishes, plus more standard fare if you aren’t adventurous. We’ll have a room to ourselves, with small table seating, separate checks, and the ability to order from the full menu. They only ask that we don’t expect everyone to be served at the same time.
Before I get into the details, let me state one more time that if any of you no longer want to receive these notices and/or want to resign from the Gourmands, just let me know. Just reply to this email with “Take me off your list”, and I’ll instantly comply.
That being said, here are the details on the dinner again:
When: Monday, March 10 – Social hour at 5:00, dinner at 6:00. (Or thereabouts.)
What: Order from the full menu, and you won’t have to pre-order – you can decide when you get there. We will have a private room (upstairs). The menu is available on their website.
