Dwellion Howard, chapter president , sent me this newsletter. It contains some insights about chapter rally hosting that other chapters might find interesting. I particularly liked the thought of a database of campgrounds that meet certain v=criteria for chapter rallies. I know of several spots that my wife, Dottie and I have been to for rallies that are also scheduled for rallies frothier chapters within the Eastern area. When a campground gets on the list of several chapters it is because that have the facilities, hooks, price and # of sites – – and they are easy to work with. Dwellion is collecting “favorites” from the Foothills Travelers members. I might suggest that other chapters do the same and then allow publication of those here on this website.
