DESCRIPTION
In May of 1971, a few RVers met in the town of Friendly, Maryland to form a camping club. The had various styles of campers, but each had a mutual love for camping, camaraderie, and stewardship. Initially, the club was established in Maryland and named as such. Now, our members include the Maryland Counties of Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Howard, Prince George's, St. Mary's, the state of Virginia and a few full-time nomads. We are a welcoming group and have embraced the name" "Friendly Maryland Travelers," as our description, not our home base. We are always reaching out, inclusive, and eager to share our experiences with other campers. Our rallies are held March through November and we meet once in December, January, and February for socials. Whether you are a novice camper or an experienced veteran, or whether you own a Class A or teardrop, this group the Friendly Maryland Travelers, will be your family if you join.
